Why it matters

Over time, a car's paint accumulates fine scratches from automatic car washes, towels, tree sap and everyday use — the paint loses depth and shine, looking dull even right after a wash. Body polishing at our shop in Vilnius isn't a cosmetic quick-fix — it's a hand-applied, multi-stage process that removes the damaged top layer of clear coat and reveals the clean, healthy surface underneath. Before starting, we measure paint thickness across every panel with a contact gauge, so polishing stays safe and doesn't compromise the factory coating. Depending on how deep the defects are, we choose a single-, two- or multi-stage polishing technique — from a light shine restoration to full correction that removes deeper scratches and oxidation marks. The result isn't only cosmetic. Polished, protected paint is easier to clean, attracts less dirt, and helps the car hold its resale value better. Polishing is also a mandatory step before applying a ceramic coating — only on a defect-free surface does a ceramic coating bond properly and reach its full gloss potential. We work with professional polishing machines, compounds of varying cut, and quality pads, so we get results without damaging the paint. Every car is assessed individually — we always discuss expectations and final pricing before starting work, so there are no surprises.
